Thanksgiving: How Are UI Students Celebrating?

I plan on helping my mom and grandma make pies and offhandedly asking them where they land on abortion.

This year, I’ll be waiting till the last possible minute to drive back home to Chicago. That way I’ll avoid the traffic.

As an Iowa City resident, the plan is to watch football, eat turkey, and pat myself on the back for being a registered Democrat.

I’m really looking forward to that 30 minutes between lunch and dessert when I won’t be thinking about my chemistry test on Monday or how I need to update my resume or my massive UI bill or internships or scholarships or grad school or the gig economy or stagnant wages or oh God I can’t fucking do this anymore.
