Can Students Tell The Difference Between Bruce Harreld and Hollywood A-Lister Jennifer Aniston?

Bruce Harreld has been president of the UI since November 2015, but how many students on campus are able to distinguish his portrait from that of famous actress and former “Friends” star Jennifer Aniston? Reporters took to the streets to find out.

When presented with both pictures and asked to identify which was the University’s President and which was an Emmy-winning actress with a net worth estimated at $200 million, sophomore Regina Samson groaned and covered her face with her hands. “Oh gosh, I should know this. I should really know this,” she said, laughing. “I feel like such a bad student.”

“They look the same,” said senior Hector Saladerri. “Are you sure they’re not both Bruce Harreld?”

Freshman Hank Howards refused to answer. “I have no idea, dude. I don’t pay attention to politics.” As he walked away, he was heard muttering, “How am I supposed to know that?”

Sophomore Raven Wilhelm squinted at the portrait of Jennifer Aniston, star of hit films such as “He’s Just Not That Into You” and “We’re the Millers.” saying, “She looks familiar. I feel like I saw her at a concert last week. Is that Bruce Harreld?”
